The Ocean City Board of Realtors has raised over $2,000 for the Ocean City Historical Museum through a virtual Bubble Mania event.
Due to the cancellation of the Ocean City Air Festival at Ocean City Municipal Airport, the Bubble Mania event was turned into a virtual fundraiser in September, according to a press release.
On December 1, the real estate agents presented a check for $2,040 to the members of the museum’s board of trustees.
Members of the Board of Realtors’ Bubble Mania Committee sold “bubbles” on a marketing banner to raise money for the museum.
Brokers and real estate agents each paid to sponsor a bubble to advertise the event.
The vision of the Ocean City Historical Museum is to be an inviting, informative and innovative community resource, recognized and respected as a place to explore and celebrate the rich history and heritage of Ocean City.
